Today was day 1 of my holiday for this week - was amazing - settled a day in bed with gw and then went for a jog, then got a good massage (played too much rugby recently - back is getting messed up).

Ya watched Part 2 of Harry Potter 7 with my gf on Friday. Not bad, though I'm kinda glad it is finally over tbh lol

Yes, it is Monday. So we still have 4 days but only 3 days next week. Which is wonderful to think of!

so the first day of the marathon is at an end...will probably watch it again (just the 2nd movie) a few more times this week--I already found a few things I missed when I saw it the first time...(and my ear is getting better at listening to englishmen).

ate too much ....got a tummy ache.... but it was worth it

Sometimes I wish I could have all day movie marathons on weekdays... But alas, I have to work. Oh well. It pays the bills.

it wasnt all day --more like all night....though we had watched all of the potter movies over the weekend (except 1/2blood prince)...we waited until dinner time...and hubby almost fell asleep during the 2nd movie (put him in a comfy spot on the couch and 20 minutes later he will be asleep--wish I could fall asleep that fast!).

speaking of sleep....didnt get any last night, so am gonna go to bed now (had to run some really early morning erands).

all my payments go somewhere...at the end of the month - i cry a little inside. wondering of course where it all goes, i'm guessing i'm going to start taking serious note of all this lol!

Ya, my money goes to bills and such. But I always set aside $150 each paycheck. May not seem like much but $300 a month adds up after awhile. $3600 at the end of the year is what it will equate too. Not bad if I can keep that up.

yep....used to do that to...
now we do more than 150 (since we are a weee bit older and that much closer to retirement--and I think my IT hubby makes more than a first year teacher--I would hope).

though some months get away from us...like having to fix the car or replace a furnace....

Ya, well $150 is roughly 15% of my paycheck after taxes and stuff. So it is about all I can afford to put away each time. I'm just a simple teacher...

ugh...nothing like spending a whole day at the mechanic (hubby out of town)...for something that was only supposed to take 2-3 hours

4 extra hours of my life gone----(and with it a missed nap!)

I hate to say this, and I don't mean to sound sexist, but mechanic's and car dealerships seem to hold women in lesser regard than men. For men they get them in and out and usually don't try to pull as much on them. But for women they really try to drag it out and see what they can get away with. Not cool.

I don't have a cold, but I think I might have a throat infection. Thus the really sore throat. Working through it though and trying to avoid going to see the doctor!

yeah, you might be right....but some of the men sitting in the room with me were just as annoyed at the time it was taking to do whatever it was.....but its over now. and I also found out that 3 of the 4 sensors for the abs are out (at about 150-200 each--) but seeing as the reg brakes work just fine, I think I will wait until next year sometime to get that fixed (heck it took me over a year to get the new struts!)

yeah sore throat, fever, chills...loss of appetite...trouble sleeping ...astonishingly the only symptom I dont have is a runny nose (thank my acupuncturist for that)...now I just need to get my immune system back up working.

Hmmm, maybe they were regulars there who the mechanics had figured out had nothing better to do? Idk. lol

Tis the season. I'm hoping this is just a viral infection and not strep or anything worse. Cause I really don't want to go to the doctor but I know with strep you have too... You need the antibiotics... I guess if it isn't better by Saturday I'll go over to a Prompt Care.

I know mine is most probably a cold--had a sore throat for a few days...then yesterday had a fever, chills, sneezing...achy...no energy, and biggest of all--no appetite (kinda a warning sign for me something is wrong, I am ALWAYS hungry).
today no more sore throat, but I am thinking about sleeping the whole day (if my back didnt hurt so much)...I feel stuffy--but my sinuses are clear (I can breath out of my nose no problems).
bleh....sleep sounds real good right now....the laundry can wait a few more hours.

Welp, my throat is actually feeling better right now. Which is good. I hope it keeps improving... I'd like to feel better ASAP lol I think I am on the right road though.

Sleep does sound nice. I didn't have a soda for lunch today so I'm a bit tired...
